The Bad Cat Black Cat 30 amplifier is Bad Cat’s version of one of the most highly praised “AC” style amplifiers ever built. This 2005 Black Cat sounds excellent with its pristine highs, clear midrange, tight lows, and a very smooth breakup when pushed into overdrive.
This capture was carefully crafted using the original Celestion Bad Cat Custom speakers, a Shure 545SD microphone, and an API 512c preamp to preserve the amp’s rich harmonic content and touch-sensitive response. The result is an incredibly realistic and inspiring tone that integrates perfectly with your board and the wider Worship Start TONEX library.
Like all our V2 TONEX tone models, we recommend setting the global input trim to 0 and using the gain knob to dial in the precise amount of gain you desire.
