How do I get the Drone Pads patch to work?

Worship Start has a very popular Drone Pads patch as part of the Sunday Starter Collection for Nord Stage 2 and Nord Stage 3. This patch allows any keyboardist to enable and sustain a drone pad in any key, and easily transition between keys within the same patch.

In order to activate the drone pads, they are mapped to the highest octave on your Nord’s key bed. All you need to do is press the note of the key that you are in—for example, if your song is in G, press G—and the Nord will endlessly sustain a lush, warm pad in that key. To increase or decrease the volume of the drone pad, use the volume knob of the synth section. To transition to a different key, simply press the note of the key you are going to and your Nord will seamlessly transition by itself (you do not need to change your patch). This is especially useful for the Nord Stage 2 because it cuts off all sound when you switch patches. With this patch, you eliminate that problem when you can change the drone key without having to change the patch. This is why our Drone Pads patch is so powerful for Worship!
