My Nord says there is not enough space.

If you’re trying to drag in Worship Start programs or bundles into your Sound Manager and you receive a pop-up message that says you need to delete files, what this means is that your Nord’s internal memory is full and it does not have enough room to add your new patches. In this case, you will need to delete some files to make enough room for your Worship Start patches.

So what you’ll need to do is go into your sample library in the Nord sound manager, and delete:

  • Any samples that are not used in any patches

  • Samples that are relatively unused

  • Samples that you know with certainty that you will never need (for example, trumpet samples, clarinet samples, saxophone samples, etc)

If you’re going to delete a sample and you’re unsure if it’s being used in a current patch or program that you’re using, another pop-up will display when you try to delete it—notifying you how many programs include the current sample.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Before you start deleting, it is always good practise to back up your Nord’s sound bank to your computer, labelled with the current date. To do this, click the Backup button in the top right corner. If you have a back up of your patches and sounds, you will easily be able to revert back to the patches and samples you had before (in the case of something going wrong).
