We do not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers when payment processing is handled by a third-party payment provider.

3. Google and YouTube Integration

Worship Start may allow you to connect your Google account or use features powered by the YouTube API Services.

Worship Start uses YouTube API Services.

When you choose to connect your Google account to Worship Start, Google may ask you to authorize specific permissions requested by the application.

We only request permissions that are reasonably necessary to provide the functionality you have chosen to use.

Google user data received through Google APIs is used only for the purposes disclosed in this Privacy Policy and in connection with the functionality you have authorized.

4. Information We May Receive From Google

Depending on the specific permissions requested and authorized by you, Worship Start may receive certain information from Google or YouTube.

  • Basic Google account information necessary to identify the connected account

  • Google account identifiers

  • YouTube account or channel information

  • YouTube video information

  • YouTube playlist or other YouTube information, where specifically authorized

  • YouTube-related metadata

  • Information necessary to associate YouTube content with songs or other content in your Worship Start workspace

  • OAuth authorization tokens required to maintain an authorized connection, where applicable

Worship Start does not request or store your Google password.

Your Google login credentials are entered directly into Google's authorization interface and are not provided to Worship Start.

Google's OAuth system allows you to authorize specific permissions without giving Worship Start your Google password.

5. How We Use Google and YouTube Data

Google and YouTube information obtained through authorized integrations may be used only to provide features that you intentionally request.

For example, Worship Start may use authorized information to:

  • Connect your Google/YouTube account to your Worship Start account

  • Search for or identify YouTube content relevant to songs in your Worship Start library

  • Retrieve permitted YouTube metadata

  • Retrieve permitted thumbnails or artwork

  • Associate YouTube content with songs in your Worship Start library

  • Provide authorized YouTube-related functionality within the Worship Start application

  • Maintain the connection between your Worship Start account and your authorized Google account

  • Improve the reliability and performance of the authorized integration

  • Respond to technical errors involving the integration

  • Maintain security and prevent unauthorized access

We will not use Google user data for purposes unrelated to the functionality you authorize.

We will not use Google user data for targeted advertising.

We will not sell Google user data.

We will not use Google user data to create advertising profiles.

We will not use Google user data to determine your eligibility for unrelated products or services.

Google user data will not be used for purposes that are incompatible with the permissions you granted or the disclosures contained in this Privacy Policy.

6. Limited Use of Google User Data

Worship Start's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

We request only the minimum permissions reasonably necessary for the functionality being provided.

We do not request broad access to Google services when a narrower permission can provide the requested functionality.

Google user data obtained through an authorized API connection will not be used, transferred, or disclosed for purposes unrelated to providing or improving the user-facing functionality that you have authorized, except where otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.

7. YouTube API Services

Worship Start uses YouTube API Services to provide certain YouTube-related functionality.

Your use of YouTube-related functionality through Worship Start is also subject to the applicable YouTube Terms of Service.

  • Create and manage user accounts

  • Provide membership and subscription functionality

  • Provide worship-planning tools

  • Generate and manage setlists and service plans

  • Provide AI-assisted features when requested

  • Process purchases and subscriptions

  • Communicate with users about their accounts and purchases

  • Maintain and improve the Services

  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems

9. AI Features

Worship Start may provide AI-assisted features, including tools that help generate or recommend worship-related content.

When you use an AI feature, information that you intentionally submit to that feature may be processed by the technology required to provide the requested functionality.

  • Prompts

  • Song preferences

  • Setlist information

  • Service information

  • Other information you choose to provide

AI-generated recommendations are provided as assistance and may not always be accurate.

Worship Start will not intentionally use private workspace information for unrelated purposes without appropriate authorization or disclosure.

Worship Start may use third-party service providers to operate and support the Services.

One technology platform used to provide portions of the Worship Start application is Base44.

Third-party service providers may process information on our behalf only as necessary to provide their services to Worship Start.

11. Base44

Worship Start uses Base44 as a technology and application platform for portions of the Services.

Information processed through the Worship Start application may therefore be stored or processed using infrastructure provided by Base44 and its underlying service providers.

Base44 may process information necessary to host, operate, secure, and maintain the Worship Start application.

Worship Start remains responsible for determining how information is used within the Services, while Base44 and its applicable service providers provide the underlying technology and infrastructure.

12. OAuth Tokens and Connected Accounts

When you authorize a third-party service, Worship Start may receive an authorization token or similar credential that allows the application to make authorized API requests.

These tokens are:

  • Stored using appropriate security controls

  • Used only for the authorized integration

  • Not used as a substitute for your password

  • Not intentionally exposed publicly

  • Not sold to third parties

Where supported, Worship Start may use refresh tokens or equivalent mechanisms to maintain an authorized connection without requiring you to authenticate repeatedly.

You may disconnect an integration through the applicable Worship Start settings or by contacting us.

When you disconnect an integration, Worship Start will stop making new authorized API requests using that connection, subject to technical and legal requirements.

We may disclose personal information to third parties only when reasonably necessary to operate the Services, provide requested functionality, comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, or with your authorization.

You may disconnect your Google/YouTube account from Worship Start where the applicable functionality provides a disconnect option.

You may also contact us to request that we remove Google/YouTube information associated with your account.

When you request deletion of applicable Google or YouTube data, we will take reasonable steps to delete the applicable information in accordance with:

  • This Privacy Policy

  • Applicable law

  • Google's applicable policies

  • YouTube's API policies

  • Our legitimate security and legal obligations

Some information may need to be retained for a limited period where required by law, necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or maintain required business records.
